Sustainability

Rudloff-StrongForce (RSF) post tension systems have abated an estimated 970,725 tonnes of CO2e emissions.

At RSF, we take the lead in reducing CO2 emissions, ensuring a healthier planet for generations to come. By instilling environmental awareness and responsibility into our core, we are reshaping the way structures are built, powered by conscious choices and innovative solutions. We're not just a company, we're a catalyst for change.

Our actions today pave the way for a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Our global footprint speaks volumes, to date RSF has championed sustainability across over 24.00 million square meters of diverse projects. This monumental commitment is a testament to our dedication to driving positive environmental change.

Based on sustainability factors from LEED and BREEAM, the leap forward is attributed to the enhanced sustainability of our systems vis-à-vis conventional reinforcement designs where comparative analysis reveals a noteworthy average of 22.50% CO2e savings when employing RSF post-tensioned systems.

Post Tensioning VS Conventional Design

Environmental Impact: Reducing concrete volume and steel reinforcement can significantly reduce the environmental impact of a building. Concrete production is energy-intensive and contributes to carbon dioxide emissions. By using less concrete, the overall carbon footprint of the building is reduced. Similarly, steel production requires a significant amount of energy and natural resources, so reducing steel usage helps conserve resources and minimize environmental degradation.

Embodied Energy: Embodied energy refers to the total energy consumed during the extraction, manufacturing, transportation, and construction of building materials. Concrete and steel have high embodied energy due to their production processes. By reducing the volume of concrete and steel reinforcement, the overall embodied energy of the building is decreased. This reduction contributes to the building's sustainability by minimizing its energy consumption during its lifecycle.

Waste Reduction: Construction projects generate a substantial amount of waste, including excess concrete and steel. By reducing the volume of concrete and steel reinforcement, the amount of waste generated during construction is decreased. This reduction in waste helps conserve natural resources and reduces the burden on waste management systems.

Prioritising Safety, Our Commitment.

Every RSF project is a testament to our dedication to the highest health and safety standards. From inception to completion, safety remains an unwavering cornerstone, ensuring each project is executed without compromise.

Cultivating a Culture of Safety.

The safety and well-being of our personnel stand as our highest priority. Our unwavering commitment to fostering a safe work environment underscores our responsibility towards those who contribute to our success.

Compliance is just the beginning; our aim is to nurture a culture of safety that goes beyond mere adherence to regulations. Through comprehensive training, vigilant supervision, and constant innovation, we're creating a safe haven for all involved.

With meticulous planning and proactive measures, we're crafting an environment where safety is non-negotiable. RSF is not just about structures, it's about fostering lives. Safety isn't an option, it's a commitment that resonates in every endeavour we undertake.
