Rudloff-StrongForce has been appointed to deliver the full post-tensioning scope for the Northern Section of the Rodoanel (Ring Road) in São Paulo, Brazil—one of the country’s most significant infrastructure initiatives currently underway.
The Rodoanel Norte project, which spans approximately 44 kilometres, is designed to complete the city’s ring road system, easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity between key regional highways. Construction has recently resumed after a period of suspension, and Rudloff Brazil is now mobilized to execute the post-tensioning works utilising the RSF Multistrand System. The scope includes more than 100 bridges and viaducts totalling over 3,200 tons of post-tension.
The completed ring road is expected to divert up to 84,000 vehicles per day from congested city routes and reduce travel times between major highways by as much as 27 minutes. In environmental terms, the project is forecast to lower CO₂ emissions in the São Paulo metropolitan area by 6 to 8 percent. Additionally, it is anticipated to generate up to 10,000 jobs, providing a strong boost to regional economic development.
Rudloff-StrongForce is proud to contribute to this transformative project, which is set to deliver lasting benefits in mobility, sustainability, and economic growth for São Paulo and its surrounding areas.
