Rudloff-StrongForce (RSF) is proud to be delivering the post-tension design-and-construct solution for Mount Khalid — a landmark, four-tower residential development set to become Islamabad’s tallest residential complex in Gulberg Greens. Spread over a plot size of 50,000m2+ and rising to 45 levels with more than 1,650 apartments, Mount Khalid combines a striking, mountain-inspired silhouette with panoramic views of the Margalla Hills and an expansive central lake. In total, the project represents over 300,000 m² of built-up area, positioning it as a true city-shaping development for Pakistan’s capital.
While post-tensioned concrete is well established in Pakistan’s bridge and infrastructure sector, its use in high-rise residential buildings is still relatively new. Mount Khalid is helping to change that. As the development gains vertical momentum, RSF’s post-tension systems are being deployed across the four interconnected towers to achieve longer spans, slimmer floor plates and more efficient structural solutions that align with the project’s ambitious architecture. The development will offer premium amenities — including over 40 lifestyle facilities, from dedicated gyms and spas to an artificial lake, jogging and cycling tracks, retail, and business spaces.
RSF has been engaged to provide a full post-tension design-and-construct solution, working closely with the client, Khalid & Khalid Group, and the project’s consulting team. As of Q3 2025, RSF has completed approximately 25% of Tower 4, which represents the largest post-tension scope on the project. This milestone reflects both the productivity of PT construction and the strong collaboration between RSF, the client and the site teams as the structure transitions from substructure to superstructure.
For Khalid & Khalid Group, Mount Khalid is a flagship step into large-scale, luxury real estate — a CDA-approved, investment-grade asset aimed at both local buyers and the global Pakistani diaspora. For RSF, it is a showcase of how international post-tension expertise can be adapted to local conditions and codes to support Pakistan’s next generation of high-rise buildings.
